What a Scam

One of the things that really infuriates me about all the war, conflicts, or issues (whatever you want to call it) in the Middle East is how blatantly the U.S. government has acted like an irresponsible kid who never does his or her homework, when it comes down to dealing with all of this. In the book titled Fiasco by Thomas E. Ricks, I was reading last night how the CPA (Coalition Provisional Authority) in Iraq, was renown for it's incompetence, and the inability of the U.S. leadership to put any effort forth to get the CPA to effectively manage Iraq. It's all a load of crap if you ask me, and all those politicians in Washington, with their thumbs up their asses, are really just digging for gold up there, because they, in my opinion, have prolonged the instability in the Middle East without regard for our troops' safety, and concern for America's economic well-being.
So this morning I read in The Economist how much the U.S. Army relies so much on private military contractors, Blackwater and Haliburton, being two of the companies who "have shared the spoils of war." So it's no wonder those rich boys in Washington want to keep the violence going, and destabilize those less fortunate areas of the world, just so they can make an easy buck. It's not just about oil anymore, it's about how the wealthy elite keep killing us off just so they can have a fatter bank account.
