GOP: The World's Greatest Threat

So it seems that McCain cannot distance himself from a political party that is riddled with corruption and controversy. Not only has his campaign been dismantled by Bush sponsorship, but now he can't pin down a GOP campaign manager, who holds a clean political record enough to show that he can be a fair and honest leader of our country. Well, I guess that's what happens when you align yourself with a party of greedy crooks and liars.
The Bush administration is persistent in their need to "supply aid" to Myanmar, pushing as much resources as they can up to the doorstep of the recently devastated nation. If only this administration has spent as much time and effort on aiding its own countrymen in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. But of course there's no political or economic advantage to that.
If you look at the history of Burma/Myanmar, you find that the U.S. has consistently and secretly operated in that country undermining it's ability to become stable, and run as single government. Instead, through evident backing from the wealthy political elite in the U.S., such as Doug Goodyear, Myanmar has been purposefully kept in a state of destabilization, via political consultation to opposing military juntas. The leaders of the military juntas in this nation, fear that if a national constitution is delayed, it would be a "victory for outside elements who are trying to destabilize Myanmar." The governing entities and its people want independence, in order for the military and the nation to survive, but hegemonic powers that be, want to continue with national disruptions, in order to ensure their military presence/economic control in the area. A softer version of what we currently see in Iraq and Afghanistan. Possibly to create a divide between independent states in the Middle East from prospering China. The efforts of Mr. Goodyear in his controversial consultation with Burma's military junta proves that GOP interests lie heavily on nation building, and or destabilization, in order to produce more profit among their political bedfellows.
Goodyear aside, there is McCain's first choice, Paul Manafort, who was eliminated because of his "representation of controversial foreign clients, including ... Ferdinand Marcos, and as chief political consultant to the corrupt prime minister Viktor Yanukovich."
McCain needs to seriously consider moving himself completely away from the GOP if he wants to better his chances of winning the presidential race. In my opinion, it's a bit too late, since Bush, by sponsoring McCain, has been in a major factor in hurting his campaign. With Bush's eight year history, and the amount of doubt he's placed into the American people, through mismanagement, and a politically motivated war, McCain better run for the Republican exit door.

  1. The problem with the GOP is it's move to the left lead by John McCain and other RINOs. The GOP needs to get back to its conservative roots, that of limited government, accountability, low taxes and low spending, and family values. If not GOP is doomed.
